The second instalment in the Cornetto Trilogy, Hot Fuzz follows a London cop who is involuntarily transferred to a quaint English village and paired with a witless new partner.
Reassigned to the rural village of Sandford by his jealous colleagues, police officer Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) struggles with the sleepy pace of life and his incompetent colleague Danny (Nick Frost). But things are not all they seem in Sandford and soon the body count is rising, and Angel doesn’t know who he can trust!
Edgar Wright’s follow-up to Shaun of the Dead is a hilarious tribute to action movies and features a superb cast including Jim Broadbent, Timothy Dalton, Olivia Colman and Paddy Considine.
