Explore new additions to our Samuel H. Kress Gallery with interactive Art Carts and a hands-on art project inspired by the painting techniques of Renaissance artists.
We will meet in the Museum auditorium for a brief welcome presentation at 2:00. Then, we split into two groups with one group starting upstairs with a tour of the galleries led by docents while other groups starts in our studio classroom with an art activity. Then, the groups switch.
Please arrive at 1:30 and check in with Ms. Ali. The event begins at 2pm. Please be on time.
Etiquette:
>Parents are responsible for their child(ren)'s supervision and behavior.
>Weapons and toys that look like weapons, including knives, multi-tools/Leathermans are not permitted.
>Courtesy first: No whispering conversations while your docent is guiding/teaching (this also goes for parents).
>Remain with the group during the gallery tours.
>Abide by the Golden Rule.
