Art Moves the City

Art Moves the City: Empowering Youth through Creativity, will cultivate artistic practices and knowledge in Atlanta youth through workshops on creative writing, digital media, and contemporary fine art fused with digital art.

Participants can choose between two workshops, Artistic Fusion that Blend Traditional and Digital Art and Creative

• Writing Fusion: Bridging Traditional Storytelling and Digital Media.

• Innovative Artistic Fusion combines traditional art techniques with contemporary digital media.

Youth will be introduced to painting, sculpture, and other art forms and will then digitize their creations.

The Creative Writing Fusion program will teach youth to integrate traditional narrative structures and poetry with digital

media.

Both workshops emphasize holistic wellness at the beginning of the workshops through breathing exercises, meditation, and sound therapy.

The workshops will span four consecutive weeks, two days a week, 3 hours each in Fall 2024.
