Join Our Creative Photography Workshop: Art Meets Emotion!Get ready for an unforgettable in-studio experience on November 2, 2024, at Merivale Photographic Studio in Ottawa! This hands-on workshop is perfect for photographers eager to capture a unique fusion of fine-art, emotion, and creativity.
Our featured model, Mia, will guide you on a journey of self-expression as she creates a whimsical self-portrait using a mirror, easel, and canvas. As the session progresses, Amilia will gradually disrobe, incorporating brushes, flowers, sponges, and spatulas to apply paint to her own body, transforming herself into a living canvas. The style is art-nude, blending the emotional depth found in traditional oil and acrylic paintings.
This workshop will emphasize the shooting opportunity, giving participants a chance to:
🎨 Manipulate lighting to create dramatic effects and set the right mood
🖼️ Shoot into a mirror without being seen in the reflection

BONUS
I will also host a 1 hr virtual meeting / tutorial a few days later in the evening for participants, where I will demonstrate some editing techniques to make this even more memorable. Specifically, I will Photoshop a portrait of the model onto the blank canvas that the model is posed in front of and giving it a painterly look. Please note, that I still run Photoshop CS-6 but all of the techniques can be done in the current versions.
