Art Lunch and Learn: "US-Mexico Border: Traversing Uncertainty" with BU Art Professor Kyle Chaput

Come join us for an exciting afternoon at Art Center Waco where we will be hosting a Lunch and Learn event with the talented BU Art Professor Kyle Chaput.

Professor Chaput will about talk the connection between his personal challenges and the inspiration for his art which depicts the impact of the border wall on Rio Grande Valley wildlife.

In his own words, Professor Chaput describes his art:

"My work examines the personal challenges associated with living with a chronic illness, Crohn's Disease, while also referencing chaotic, often conflicting aspects of life along the US-Mexico border in the Rio Grande Valley. The work, inspired by the individuals and wildlife of this region affected by government actions, reflect a broken condition within an alienated community."
