📌 Important: This event is part of our members‑only programme, created to support, uplift and empower the women and girls in our community.
For those who aren’t members, we do offer a pay‑as‑you‑go option. Girls under 18 yrs can attend free of charge. This small contribution helps us cover essential costs such as materials, room hire and refreshments, which are not always funded.
Please also note that our activities are for women and girls (10yrs+) only, ensuring a safe and supportive space for all who attend. Girls under 18yrs must be accompanied by an adult.
What We Do in These Workshops
Art journalling is a gentle, expressive form of mixed media play. We use paints, pens, stencils,magazine images, old book pages — whatever feels good in your hands. Each page in your sketchbook becomes a small, private space where you can explore colour, texture, emotion, and imagination without any expectation of perfection.
You’ll learn simple techniques, layering methods, and ways to build pages that feel rich and personal. But more importantly, you’ll learn how to let go of the pressure to “make something good” and instead enjoy the process of making something honest.
A Space That Holds You
These workshops are calm, supportive, and pressure-free. You don’t need experience. You don’t need confidence. You don’t need a plan. You just come as you are.
