EVENT INFORMATION

The North Shore Art League is excited for our 14th annual juried fine art fair on June 13 & 14, 2026. It will take place in Hubbard Woods Park. Winnetka is a charming upscale Chicagoland destination, highly sought after zip code, located along the shores of Lake Michigan. This boutique show offers great visibility, enthusiastic buyers, and free parking.

Art in the Village is located in the community where the League began over 101 years ago! As a beloved community asset, the League has been an instrumental force in the creative arts throughout the Chicagoland area. This show will be well promoted through Chicago media, local publications and radio stations. The park setting makes it ideal for exhibiting your works.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Awards:

Awards jurors will select artists to receive prizes up to $3,000. Award winners from immediate previous year are invited to return exempt from jurying. These winners will be automatically accepted upon receipt of their application (via google form) prior to the jury deadline and payment of the booth fee by 2/13/26


Accepted Media Categories:

Painting - Any two dimensional works created in Oils, Acrylics or Watercolors.


Drawing - Any two dimensional works created using Colored Pencil, Pastel, Charcoal or Graphite.


Printmaking - Any printed works for which the artist has manipulated the plates, stones or screens. These works must also be printed by the artist. Processes may include Lithography, Intaglio, Relief, Etching, Aquatint, Monoprint, Serigraphy or other techniques.

 

Sculpture - Three dimensional work created in Bronze, Metal, Terra Cotta, Wood, Glass or Other.


Mixed Media - Two or three dimensional work that incorporates more than one type of material or media in their production.


Fine Art Jewelry - All jewelry must be handmade and/or forged and artist designed. Commercial components (beads, stones, pearls) assembled are not acceptable. Major portion of the piece must be original work of the artist. 


Photography - Images must have been captured and processed by the artist; printed on archival-quality paper, signed and numbered by the artist. 


Digital Art - Works must be original, executed by the artist. No giclees. Collage or original digital images are appropriate.

Space in this popular show will be limited - giving you a great opportunity to stand out in this exclusive venue.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, the League is dedicated to bringing high quality arts experiences to its community through classes, workshops, exhibits, lectures and special events. NSAL also provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors who have shown excellence in the arts in high school.


RULES/REGULATIONS

Application Process:

The show is open to all artists 18 years or older, on a national basis, who submit images for jurying. Work must be original, executed by the artist and have been done in the last two years. No commercial molds, commercial kits or pre-fabricated pieces are allowed. 

  

A wait list will be established based on jury scores. Wait-listed artists will be notified when a space becomes available.


The art fair committee reserves the right to refuse exhibition of work not consistent with submitted images or guidelines.


General Rules:

The artist must be present for the entire duration of the show; no artists' representatives are allowed.


Artists retain all proceeds from sales. 


Artists are responsible for paying 9% sales tax to the State of Illinois.


Exhibiting artists must comply with all safety requirements in place at the time, and local and state laws. 


  • Set-up:Artists will be able to set-up their booths on Friday June 12th, beginning at 1:00pm until 7:00pm. Drive-up and drop-off will be available with plenty of assistance from the League's volunteers. Artists will be directed to free parking areas.
  • Booths must be ready for the opening at 10:00am on Saturday, June 13th . Awards jury will begin at 11:00am. 
  • Artists are required to provide tent weights. No spikes or tent stakes may be driven into the ground. 
  • No electricity is provided.
  • No overhangs/awnings should extend into the shared space between booths.  
  • The show will open rain or shine - please plan accordingly. 


  • Security: The League provides security during the show. Security will be patrolling the show area on the evenings of Friday, June 12th and Saturday, June 13th, 7:00pm-7:00am.
