About this Event

Celebrate Black History Month by joining us for Art in the Park, Charles McGee Edition! This adult program will be inspired by Charles McGee, a Detroit based artist, educator, and cultural leader whose extensive career enveloped creativity, community, and the power of visual storytelling. Together, we will create paper sculptures inspired by McGee.


Reservations are required for all programs, each person needs their own ticket. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early. Please meet in Field 1 at the Environmental Education & Resiliency Center.
