Printmaking has a long and storied history as a medium for social activism and organizing. Eliza Squibb will introduce the use of stencils and rubber stamping techniques to create art and repeating patterns. Participants can create their own stencils and stamps or use ready-made materials to make small artworks. - - - - -
You will learn:
- How Eliza creates the motifs in her designs
- How Eliza uses to the technique to make repeating or non-repeating patterns
- How you can use readily available materials to explore this technique in your own style

RSVP required, limited to 16 participants due to space constraints
Ages 10+ welcome
Participants between the ages of 10-13, please bring an adult who you can chaperone, thanks!
Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty!

Eliza Squibb's 'Social Fabric' exhibition will be on display at the time of the workshop.
Classes are pay-what-you-can. All monetary proceeds will go directly towards supporting The Womxn Project Education Fund's A|RT Lab Programming. We are also accepting non-perishable food donations at every event.
