Join us for August’s Art History Happy Hour where we will explore the work of Gustav Klimt. We’ll look at his use of gold, pattern, and symbolism, and how his work fit into the cultural scene of turn-of-the-century Vienna. We’ll also touch on why his paintings sparked strong reactions and how they continue to influence art today.
