Join us for the opening of the newly established "Galería Dolores Garcia y Gilberto Cardenas" at La Casa de Amistad.
Galería Dolores Garcia y Gilberto Cardenas will feature more than 20 original works by prominent Latino artists at each exhibition, including the first, which opens Sunday, September 29. This exhibition is a celebration of our rich cultural heritage and a journey into the world of art.
Artwork in our permanent collection was donated by our generous patrons, Gil Cardenas and Dolores Garcia Cardenas. The gallery lighting, track system, and storage was paid for, in large part, by a grant by the National Association of Latino Arts and Culture. We are deeply appreciative of their contributions of history and culture to our community.
