ART GALLERY DISCOVERY WALKING TOUR

This 2-hour walking tour provides an introduction to seven of Galveston’s art galleries in Galveston’s newly designated Cultural Arts District, where you will experience in-person visits with artists and gallery owners to learn a bit about their own work, and the diverse artwork and creative community found in Galveston.

Along the way your guide, author and historian Kathleen Maca, will share a bit about the island’s past connection with artists, photographers and writers.

We'll meet in front of Mock and More Gallery at 2215 Postoffice Street to begin walk.

Please note:

Please wear comfortable walking shoes, and be aware of curbs and uneven walking paths.

No video or audio recording allowed during the tour, but still photos are encouraged.

Guide takes no responsibility for injuries incurred during tour. There are limited restroom opportunities, so it is encouraged to "take care of business" ahead of time.

Tour will be given rain or shine except in the case of a severe thunderstorm. Ticket fee is non-refundable.
