We’re excited to once again offer our ever-popular ART EXPLORERS CLASS, where we foster an artistic community for all students and creative interests. Taught by artist Shannon Marino
Back by popular demand, we’re offering CLAY sculpting as one of many art mediums we’ll be exploring with this session, along with sewing, painting and MORE!
As usual, we’ll offer visual inspiration and demonstrate different techniques while fostering love of the arts and art history. While working in a group setting, our students get to explore their own creativity, with our guidance. We have fun learning and practicing a wide variety of skills. Students begin by choosing their own subject matter, which they really love, because they have endless minds for unique ideas. Children pick up new skills, get more advanced and learn new mediums *while creating something that they feel passionate about!* It’s almost as they are learning without really knowing that they are being taught. Because the best way to learn is to start doing! It all starts with an idea :)
Ages 6-12. Please bring along light snack and drink for your child, we do take a quick break to fuel our creative energy!

Exploration in mediums and subjects of interest is encouraged, as well as growth toward creative independence within the art studio. Kids enjoy having the freedom to choose and discover in their own way, while supportive guidance is available to build confidence in creativity and skill building. We support students throughout the process of choosing an art project and completing artwork with the understanding that each individual student works at their own pace and skill level.
In each 4-week session we offer a different variety of engaging art project options, to continue hands-on skill-building and creative growth!
