Art Exploration Series – KIDS Holiday Art Course Manga/Acrylic Painting

This holiday, the Art Exploration Course is the perfect programme for children between the ages of 7 – 9 to explore new mediums and build up their foundational art techniques. This fully immersive holiday art programme allows your kids to learn the basics of fine arts, like painting, colour theory and sketching under our professional teacher guidance.

Our holiday art course programmes offer a full range of mediums for students to explore and learn with us, helping them to release their creative juices and be independent in their learning.

Acrylic Painting Art Immersion Course [8 Sessions $698]

1. Kids Acrylic Painting – Art Immersion Holiday Course

What can you expect?

Beginner-friendly painting lessons on simple colour theory and paintbrush techniques

Subject matters that you will engage in during the sessions

Painting simple graphic designs (animals, landscape, character)

Gradient background in landscape painting (sunset, twilight, sunset)

Still life observation painting (an arrangement of fruits – 1 to 3 items)

During the course, students will:

Practice blending techniques

Gain observational skills on composition, proportions and perspectives of drawing

Understand colour theory and mixing using primary and secondary colours

All art materials are provided for FREE. After the 8 weeks, students will take home 2 of their artworks and a small acrylic study to help them further improve their skills.

2. Kids Manga & Coloured Illustration – Art Immersion Holiday Course

What can you expect?

Beginner friendly sketching lessons on anime characters, cartoons or animals

Subject matters that you will engage in during the sessions

Sketching Anatomy (character – facial, body, male/female)

Stylization of characters (male/ female and costume)

Creating storyboards – drawing interesting scenes for your characters

During the course, students will:

Learn to basic human anatomy – with proportion

Gain observational skills on composition, correct proportions and perspectives of the art reference

Understand colour theory and mixing

All art materials are provided for FREE. After the 8 weeks, students will take home 4 of their independent art projects, which they can proudly display at home.
