Join us Friday, September 18 from 6-8pm for opening receptions celebrating three new exhibitions at Hopkins Center for the Arts.
MEMBERS’ JURIED EXHIBITION
The annual fall exhibition of work by Friends of Hopkins Center for the Arts member artists, selected through a juried competition.
JOHN WELLS: MATERIAL GEOMETRY, YEARS 1 THROUGH 5
After more than 60 years as a working artist, Wells continues his exploration of serial development and abstract construction through reductive, minimal and elegant wall sculptures.
HOMEWOOD PHOTO COLLECTIVE
Established in 2016, the collective brings together photographers working across street, documentary, travel portraiture, nature, wildlife, abstract and landscape photography.
The opening also coincides with the launch of Studio West weekend, with Hopkins Center for the Arts serving as a featured exhibition site and information hub for the Sept. 19-20 open studio tour.
Opening receptions are free and open to the public.
