AmarA*JK are a collaborative artistic couple who reside near Binghamton, NY. They create art & conceive of art in very different ways, which means that their exhibits are unusually dynamic and bold. AmarA is representational, driven by a deep interest in art history and a desire to explore different techniques with the medium. Jaelin is an multimedia abstractionist who plays with different media on the canvas until she discovers a connection, meaning, or simple aesthetic moment of perfection.
This exhibit with feature a new series of work by AmarA titled "Doomed to Repeat". The series take the style, technique, and composition of famous art works and uses that to represent topical events.
