Art Conversations at Art On 1st

Two of our artists and now gallery volunteers, Therry and Wally Neilsen-Steinhardt invite you to join them and other artists in Art Conversations, a new monthly group at Art on 1st.

Whether you are an emerging or established artist, this is an opportunity to join other artists in a safe space where you can bring pieces you want to show and talk about. This is NOT a critique, but an opportunity for all of us to get comfortable in a small group of fellow artists.

Talking about our work may also help us get clarity on our choices in making art. It may even lead us to explore new directions for our work. Subjects for discussion might include

• Medium
• Color
• Composition
• Texture
• Any and all choices the artist has made in the creation of the piece

Bring your materials and work in progress even if you don’t have a piece to discuss. There will be tables and space for you to work during the session if you like, or just come and participate in the conversation.

Meetings will take place on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM except December.

Light refreshments will be offered.

Each gathering will run about two hours.

This event is open to everyone. Registration is free, but as a non-profit gallery, donations are greatly appreciated.
