ART CONNECT – Life Portrait Painting Session lead by Robert Bialek.Art Connect is an immersive 3.5-hour life portrait painting experience where you observe a live model while learning the foundations of portrait art.
The session combines demonstration, guided practice, and discussion, focusing on:
• Human proportions & anatomy
• Life sketching techniques (gesture, structure, observation)
• Colour theory applied to portrait painting
• Understanding light, form, and expression
The experience is designed to be educational yet relaxed, encouraging connection, creative exchange, and confidence-building in observational painting.
A short break with drinks provided allows you to refresh, connect, and reflect before continuing.
This session is suitable for beginner to intermediate artists, art students, and creatives interested in portrait painting from life. No experience needed.
