Step into a midweek creative pause and lose yourself in paint.
Our Wednesday evening acrylic painting sessions are designed for adults who want to explore painting in a relaxed, welcoming studio environment—whether you’re returning to art after a long break or ready to push your practice further.
Across the term, we’ll work with acrylic paint through a variety of contemporary styles, including abstract, abstract realism, impressionistic, and modern painting approaches. Each session offers guided instruction alongside plenty of freedom to interpret, experiment, and develop your own visual voice.
You’ll learn about colour mixing, layering, texture, mark-making, composition, and how to loosen up while still creating considered, expressive work. Some evenings will focus on structured prompts; others will invite intuitive painting and personal exploration.
These sessions are not about perfection—they’re about process, play, and progress. Paint alongside others, enjoy the calm of the studio, and leave feeling creatively refreshed (and possibly a little paint-splattered).
All experience levels welcome.
Small group sizes ensure individual guidance and a supportive, unhurried atmosphere.
