Workshop Description:Fanciful cherry blossoms bloom from stems rather than branches in this playful centerpiece. The soft Wrinkle Pleated petals play off of the graphic floral patterned leaves. We'd love to see these perched on a windowsill as well. Inspired by chiyogami/yuzen Japanese patterns.
Instructor Bio:
Margot Zen is a Moab local and has been creating paper flowers for over a decade now. She has always loved flowers and creating art, but realized a long time ago that she is not a great painter or drawer, so looked for ways to create without using those two mediums and the art of paper flowers stuck. Margot uses the paper flowers in her house for gifts as bouquets or on wrapped presents. Margot see ideas and inspiration all over the desert and the world and looks forward to passing along this art to all of you.
All materials are provided.
Class will be held in the Stage Room and will run from 6-8pm on Thursday, March 5.
