Kids love to make art, and they're sure to love every minute of our week-long Mixed Media Art Camps at ARTworks Vass!The theme for July's Camp will be "Down On The Farm", and we'll be inspired by all things relating to Rural Life, Farm Animals, and Agriculture.
Your Children Will...
Have more fun that you can possibly imagine!
Make North Carolina Pottery from Raw Clay.
Paint Their Own Pottery.
Create Fiber Art.
Learn to Draw.
Etch Metal.
Create Shrinky Dinks.
Make Mixed Media Magic and Slime.
Learn about a Famous Artist's life and work, and create in their style.
Enjoy an hour of downtime during a lunch break after the morning session.
Enjoy an hour of downtime during a snack break after the afternoon session.
Schedule:
Camps will be held Monday through Friday.
Dropoff for camp begins at 8:45 each morning.
Morning Art Class will be held from 9:00 until noon.
Lunch Time (Optional for Full Day and Morning Attendees.) will be held from noon until 1:00.
Afternoon Art Class will be held from 1:00 until 4:00.
Snack Time (Optional for Full Day and Afternoon Attendees.) will be held from 4:00 until 5:00.
Late Pickup, until 5:45, will be available at an additional cost.
Important Information About Camps at ARTworks Vass:
We ask that a responsible adult present their child to our instructor in the classroom at the beginning of each class, and pick them up inside of our classroom at the end of the day.
Camps will have an instructor to child ratio of no more than 1 to 6.
June's Camp, 6/17 - 6/21, will have a theme of Under The Sea.
July's Camp, 7/15 - 7/19, will have a theme of "Down on The Farm".
August's Camp, 8/5-8/9, will have a theme of "Hot Fun in The Summertime".
Camp registration will be accepted for full week's only.
Campers may register for full days, mornings only, or afternoons only.
If You Register Your Child for a Full Day Camp:
Plan to dropoff between 8:45 and 9:00.
Plan to pickup between 4:00 and 5:00, unless you've registered for Late Pickup.
Plan to send your child with a nut-free lunch, 3 snacks, and 2 drinks each day.
If You Register Your Child for Morning Camp Only:
Plan to dropoff between 8:45 and 9:00.
Plan to pickup between 12:00 and 1:00.
Plan to send your child with a nut-free lunch, a snack, and a drink.
If You Register Your Child for Afternoon Camp Only:
Plan to dropoff between 12:45 and 1:00.
Plan to pickup between 4:00 and 5:00, unless you've registered for Late Pickup.
Plan to send your child with 2 nut-free snacks, and a drink.
If You Register for Late Pickup at the End of the Day, plan to pickup between 5:00 and 5:45.
For All Campers:
When ordering, please add a separate seat in Camp to your cart for each child that you're registering, and add all of their specific information to it.
All supplies are included.
Pottery projects will be ready for pickup within 2 weeks of the end of camp.
Beginners are welcome.
School Aged Children, who follow instructions well, and who are able to work relatively independently for 90 minutes at a time, are welcome to attend.
Adults are not permitted to register as a student in camp.
Registration allows for one Guest to attend.
Only Registered Guests may attend camp.
Registrations are non-refundable.
Camp classes start and end each day promptly as scheduled.
Dress your children to mess or send an apron with them.
Please do not send your children to camp if they've experienced flu-like symptoms or a fever within the 24 hours before camp.
