Join us for an opening reception in the Lois Estes Ruleman Gallery of Art at Church Health!
Sunday, November 8 | 3:00–5:00 pm
Church Health Welcome Center
1350 Concourse Ave, West Atrium
Cathy Winterburn’s tapestries, executed in velvet, silk, metallic thread, and beads on linen, are an elaboration of her earlier garden and landscape paintings. She has been painting for over 30 years, and these subjects have always occupied a special
oeuvre for her. This series - Garden Illuminations - harkens back to skills her grandmother taught her.
Native Memphian, Jeannie Stonebrook has studied drawing and painting intermittently for decades. Her high contrast pieces, featuring expressive lines and abstracted compositions, are depictions of memories of the natural world, seen during her travels.
The show will be on view Monday through Friday from
8:00 am to 5:00 pm through December 30.
