About this Event
Artists Archives of the Western Reserve (AAWR) is proud to present an Art Bites: Curator's Talk featuring Megan Alves.
Case Western Reserve University is pleased to host One Art – One Community, an exhibition featuring 46 works of visual art created by 16 artists currently incarcerated in Ohio prisons. Openend in the Fall of 2025, the show brings together residents of Grafton Correctional Institution, students, faculty, and staff from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), and community stakeholders to foster mutual respect and understanding.
Co-curated by Megan Alves, AAWR’s former Marketing and Program Manager at AAWR, One Art – One Community emphasizes social justice and celebrates the humanity of all people through creative expression. Selected works are accompanied by reflections from community members, including those impacted by incarceration. All artwork sales directly benefit the artists.
Tickets are free, but limited, and required for planning and attendance purposes.
