Begin the evening with cocktails, canapés, and entertainment – and explore our galleries discovering new artists. Continue to a curated seated dinner, paddle raise, music and dancing. All proceeds support our dynamic season of thought-provoking exhibitions featuring local, national, and international artists, and our ever-growing roster of education programs – allowing us to serve as an inspiration for our community members, students, and visitors from around the globe.
Black & White is inspired by Truman Capote’s infamous 1966 Black and White Masquerade Ball, as well as elements of the artworks in our Winter Exhibition, Presence: The Photography Collection of Judy Glickman Lauder. Travel back in time to 1960s New York City for an iconic night that glorified noteworthy artists, high society, and style icons of mid-20th century photography. Find yourself reflected in the monochrome photographs that powerfully capture the human experience, and unmask yourself as you dance and celebrate the “party of the century.”
