Roughly 250 years ago, the rational order of the Enlightenment had grown passé, and politics and societies of the time began to protest and rebel, sowing the seeds of war and revolution in both Europe and America’s colonies. Art, literature, theater and music jumped on the band wagon in the 1760s -70s. The orchestra explores this brief period of storm and stress, and ponders... Is it back?
