Acclaimed local singer-songwriter Jim Jones (Small Town Jones) will perform an intimate selection of original songs while ceramic artist Taz Pollard of The Ceramics Academy creates live in response to the music. As each song unfolds, Taz will interpret its rhythm, emotion and atmosphere through clay, offering audiences a rare insight into the creative process.
This unique collaboration celebrates the dialogue between sound and form, inviting you to witness two accomplished artists inspiring one another in real time.
Whether you're a lover of live music, contemporary craft, or simply curious about creativity in action, this promises to be a memorable and immersive evening.
Studio Kind is situated at the far end of and within Barnstaple Pannier Market. During out of hours, the market can be accessed by a small wooden door from Butchers Row.
Nearest Car parks are the Cattle Market car park or Barnstaple Central. There is disabled parking on Boutport Street.
The bus station is a 5-minute walk away and the train station a 15-minute walk or bus journey of 10 minutes.
Our venue is wheelchair friendly and accessible to all. There are accessible toilets right next door.
