“Written Visual Art & More”Works by Members of the Art & Calligraphy Society
Reception Gallery
Wikipedia defines Calligraphy as a ‘visual art related to writing. It is the design and execution of lettering with a pen, ink brush, or other writing instrument, giving form to signs in an expressive, harmonious, and skillful manner.’ That much is true. But this Pop-Up show will be so much more. Definitely ‘something to write home about’ from these talented artists and letter-smiths.
This event is free for exhibiting artists, PAC members and children, with a $10 entry fee for non-members. Guests will enjoy delicious appetizers and a cash beer and wine bar.
After the reception, explore the gallery for free during PAC's regular hours (10 AM–5 PM, Tuesday through Saturday), thanks to the generous sponsorship of WVU Medicine CCMC.
