Art and Asana

As we move into winter, we will honour the long nights and tap into the darkness as a way to plant seeds of growth for the colder months. We will meditate on the themes of winter within a restorative and gentle yoga flow. In this flow, we will work through our heart chakras to explore our inner world. Come join Vicky and Kirstie December 7th for "Art and Asana: A Yoga and Art Meditation". For this workshop, our theme is "Breakthrough" What does that mean for you?

As we move through asanas we allow the movement to catalyze growth like a seed ready to grow. Moving into our art meditation, we will use imagery to meditate on what it means to plant the seed in the cold winter months, and the importance of this period in our cycle towards expansion. We will work with our hearts in guiding us through individual breakthroughs before expressing them through art, with your own twist!

This workshop is available to all skill levels, and all ages. All supplies are provided. We encourage you to bring your own mat, props, and any art supplies that may call to you!
