Join us in creating Art Alchemy! This once monthly expressive art gathering is a supportive space to freely
explore your artistic side while enjoying community. Each gathering will consist of a short, themed meditation,
two and a half hours of art creation to curated music, community connection and light refreshments. Join us
and see where your intuition and creativity lead you as we explore different themes through ART!
Date: Sunday May 17, 2026
Theme: Abandonment: Abandonment can feel like an empty space inside, where connection and safety once
lived, often bringing up sadness, fear, or self-doubt. We will express these feelings through words, images,
colors, and symbols to help process the loss and begin rebuilding our sense of inner security.

Open to all skill levels! This gathering is about expression, not ability!
All supplies provided unless noted below.
Open to adults and children ages 10 and up with a guardian present, this is not a drop off event.
Mature emotional themes may be explored, please evaluate which themes are age appropriate for your

12:00 pm - 12:20 pm: Welcome, mingling and refreshments.
12:20 pm - 12:35 pm: Introduction to theme and instructions if needed.
12:35 pm - 12:45 pm: Guided meditation.
12:40 pm - 3:10 pm: Art creation.
3:10 pm - 3:45 pm: Discussion, sharing, refreshments.
3:45 pm - 4:00 pm: Brief talk about next class and clean up supplies.
4:00 pm - 4:30 pm: Amity, Valla, Kim, and Jen break down event.
