Valerie Marvin, Historian from the Michigan State Capital, will give a presentation focusing on Detroit’s William Wright Company. Wright furnished the interiors of buildings and boats, from the Michigan State Capitol to the Bob-lo Island boat S.S. Columbia. Their client list included governments, industrialists, theaters, hotels, churches, private clubs, and the occasional charity-funded hospital. See the history of long-forgotten interiors and their preservation. Ages 12+.
