Every year, we head out into the field for 24 hours straight to see just how far our signals can reach—and you’re officially invited to join us.
The Details:
Starting at 2:00 PM on June 27th, the Vienna Wireless Society is taking over a spot at Burke Lake Park.
How to find us:
It’s easy. Just pull into the park and look to your left. If you see a bunch of tents and antennas reaching for the clouds, you’ve found the right spot. You honestly can't miss us.
Why come by?
Total Beginner? Perfect. If you’ve never touched a radio, we want to show you the ropes.
New License? Come get some dirt on your boots and see how the gear works in the real world.
Just Curious? Come meet some of the smartest, most helpful radio nerds in the area.
We’ll have the radios humming, the antennas tuned, and plenty of great food to keep everyone going. Whether you're there to operate or just to hang out and grab a bite, we’d love to have you.
