About this Event
Come join us for a special edition of our Armley LCP meeting this month.
A bespoke Armley Mental Health Making Every Contact Count (MECC) training has been developed by Armley LCP. This training session is to upskill professionals and volunteers working within the Armley LCP area tending to peoples’ wider determinants of health. This session will:
- Increase your understanding of what MECC is and how it can help support changes to improve mental health
- Understanding what Trauma-informed means and how it’s relevant to MECC
- Provide you with added skills and confidence to have a MECC chat / conversation around mental health
- Provide you with practical tools to assist you in having MECC conversations, including MECC Link
- Increase your awareness of the services in Armley around health and wellbeing
We’re really excited about Armley’s Mental Health MECC training and want as many people to attend as possible. There will be more opportunities to attend the training in future. If you want to attend and have not been able to book on, please do provide your details for the waitlist and we will let you know when future dates are available.
Please note, this is part of our Test & Learn phase of developing the training. Your experience, insights and feedback will play a crucial role in how we adapt the training for future groups.
