Armenian Film Society presents Armenians in Television: Actors on Sunday, June 28 at LOOK Cinemas, featuring Edgar Damatian, Michael Goorjian, Sofia Hasmik, and Jack Topalian.
Armenian actors continue to make their mark across television’s biggest shows, from breakout performances to scene-stealing roles. This special conversation brings together Armenian actors who appeared in some of this year’s biggest and most talked-about television series. The evening will explore their journeys, experiences, and the growing presence of Armenian talent across the industry.

Please note seating is on a first-come, first-served basis for General Admission. VIP ticket holders will enjoy reserved seating in a premium section of the auditorium and complimentary refreshments and snacks. Doors open at 7pm and the event begins at 7:30pm.

Edgar Damatian
Edgar Damatian is an actor who's been cast as everything from the guy you root for to the guy you probably shouldn't. His range covers drama, comedy, and the edgier corners in between. Credits include work alongside Saoirse Ronan, Taron Egerton, Nathan Fillion, Frank Grillo, and Giovanni Ribisi.
Michael Goorjian
Michael Goorjian is an Emmy-winning actor, filmmaker, and writer, whose credits include the Golden Globe-winning series PARTY OF FIVE, SLC PUNK!, and AMERIKATSI.
Sofia Hasmik
Sofia Hasmik is a first-generation American actress born to Armenian parents. Sofia can be seen starring as Dr. Nazely Toomarian in the Emmy-winning HBO Max drama series, THE PITT. Before landing THE PITT, she starred as Chrissy Beppo in all four seasons of The CW's hit superhero series, SUPERMAN & LOIS. Her resume also includes recurrrecurring and guest-starring roles in film and television, including LURKER (MUBI), THE NEIGHBORHOOD (CBS), THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME (AppleTV+), ALL THE BRIGHT PLACES (Netflix), and the revival series MAD ABOUT YOU (Hulu). Sofia can also be seen in the upcoming third season of Netflix's TIRES.
Jack Topalian
Born in Armenia, Jack Topalian immigrated to the United States at age 10 and was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Jack first found success in business before pursuing his lifelong passion for acting in his early 40s. He quickly established himself as a sought-after character actor with appearances in numerous acclaimed television series, including NCIS: LOS ANGELES, RAY DONOVAN, BONES, TRUE DETECTIVE, BOSCH, GENERAL HOSPITAL, and more. His feature film credits include SHOCK AND AWE, THE LITTLE THINGS, and EMILY THE CRIMINAL. More recently, he appeared in Hulu's CLIPPED and HBO's DUSTER, and the HBO Max series EUPHORIA, alongside Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi. He'll also be seen in the new season of the Apple TV+ series SUGAR, opposite Colin Farrell.
