ARM Your Pet - Free Dog Wellness Event

While caring for the homeless pets in our shelter will always be our top priority, we’re equally proud to support the pets already in our community by providing accessible, life-saving resources.
Our ARM Your Pet events—offering free rabies vaccinations and microchipping—are designed to make essential pet wellness services available to all Orange County residents. By providing core vaccines and microchips, we’re helping give your pet a layer of protection against disease and the risk of becoming lost or stolen.
At no cost to dog owners, we offer the rabies vaccine, DAPP combination vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, and a microchip with lifetime registration—a value of approximately $100.
Our next dog-focused event will take place on Wednesday, July 29, starting at 7 a.m. at Barnett Park (4801 W. Colonial Dr., Orlando, FL 32808). At our last event, we served more than 350 dogs—and this time, we’re aiming to reach 500!

- Services are available on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.
- There is a limit of two dogs per household for these services. Orange County residency required.
- All dogs must be leashed.
- OCAS may elect to muzzle certain dogs, out of an abundance of caution.
- Pets unable to be safely handled will be refused service.
- Due to health and safety concerns, OCAS will not be able to assist dogs that have had previous vaccine reactions, are experiencing current medical conditions or are reactive (display aggression) toward other pets or people.
