Arizona Supreme Court Justice Maria Elena Cruz will be the keynote speaker for the fourth annual Legal Paraprofessional Summit. The summit will feature a panel of judges from the family law bench, municipal and justice court judges discussing what they observe from Legal Paraprofessionals in court and answer audience questions. Another panel will feature current licensed Legal Paraprofessionals working in different practice areas sharing their experiences and answering questions.
The Administrative Office of the Arizona Supreme Court will provide updates on practice areas, testing, and licensure. Session topics will include courtroom decorum, telling your client's story in court, using the rules of evidence to get your exhibits and testimony admitted, the hows and whys of Legal Writing ,and the importance of ethics in daily practice.
Attendees can receive up to 5 hours of CLE credit, including one hour of Ethics.
Registration starts at 8:30AM. Program from 9AM to 4:45PM in person or online. Lunch provided for in-person attendees.
