Argentina Winemaker Hour at Farmhouse SLO
About this Event
Fabricio Orlando, the acclaimed winemaker from San Rafael, Argentina, is coming to San Luis Obispo for one evening.
Three years ago, Fabricio began exporting his handcrafted wines to California. His wines come from San Rafael, Argentina, an up-and-coming wine region at the foot of the Andes, about three hours south of where most of the world's Malbec is made. Now he's pouring them himself at Farmhouse Corner Market.
Farmhouse Corner Market brings together a farm-to-table kitchen, a neighborhood market, and a wine lounge under one roof in San Luis Obispo. It's a natural home for an evening of Argentine wine with the winemaker himself.
What to expect
- A tasting of Fabricio's San Rafael, Argentina wines, poured by the winemaker
- Cheese and Charcuterie
- The story behind each glass, from the vineyard to the bottle
About the wines
Miner Wine Club founder Luke Miner and Trailside founder Dan Mellon built the relationships that brought Fabricio's FOW wines to the United States for the first time. You won't find them poured anywhere else in North America.
