ARF is holding a Penny Social Fundraiser!When: Sunday, October 19
Where: VFW Hall, 413 Main St., Beacon, NY.
Enter to win gift baskets, toys, gift certificates, pet supplies, books & MORE. You’ll find a great selection of items from vintage to retro to modern. Plus door prizes and a 50/50 raffle… there’s something for everyone!
Doors open 1:00 pm
Drawings start at 3:00 pm (You must be there to claim your items!)
What is Penny Social, you ask? A Penny Social is a fun fundraising event that combines elements of raffles and silent auctions.
How does a Penny Social work? What are the rules?
- FREE Admission
- Participants buy their Penny Social raffle tickets (CASH ONLY)
- Guests explore items and gift baskets on display, as they would at a silent auction.
To place bids, leave tickets in the bags placed in front of your favorite items. You can leave as many tickets as you like for each item.
- Once everyone has “spent” all their tickets, the event caller will pull a random ticket from each basket and announce the lucky winners. - - Winners must be present for the drawing to collect item.
Baked goods, chips, coffee, soda, and water will be available for purchase. CASH ONLY.
Building is ADA accessible. No animals please, except for valid service animals. Children welcome.
