Come join us on Thursday, Sep 25, for GCU Med's second annual night of Areopagus! “Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: “People of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: to an unknown god. “ Acts 17: 22-23
The Areopagus is known to be a general center for philosophical debate and legal matters in Athens in Ancient Greece.
Here at GCU Med we wish to bring forth a meeting of the minds, inspired by Paul’s brave teachings in Act 17.
At our ‘Areopagus’ Event, we invite discussion on matters of ethics, philosophy and law regarding topics we care about. This year, we’ll discuss Voluntary Assisted Dying or Euthanasia and present an opinion from the Christian World View.
This ~2 hour session will be an opportunity to discuss deeply and broadly around this hot topic in medicine. Join us for dinner afterwards as well!
