Are we building healthy love, or just chasing attention, chemistry, or the idea of a relationship?
Connected & Called is an evening of dinner, games, prizes, and an honest Christian round-table conversation about healing, discernment, relationships, and commitment.
This isn't speed dating, matchmaking, or a lecture. It's a guided, respectful conversation where unmarried adults can wrestle with what it actually means to build a healthy, Christ-honoring relationship, whether you're single, dating, or engaged.
During the evening, we'll explore questions like:
- What's the difference between building love and chasing it?
- How does unresolved hurt shape who we choose and how we relate to them?
- What does intentional dating look like without rushing, manipulating, or ignoring warning signs?
- How do character, spiritual maturity, boundaries, and honesty shape a healthy relationship?
- How do you tell the difference between real connection and temporary attention?
- Are your current choices building toward something lasting?
This isn't about pressuring anyone toward dating or marriage. It's about thinking biblically, making wiser decisions, and growing in spiritual maturity, wherever you are right now.

The round-table format gives everyone a chance to participate. You're never required to disclose anything private or answer every question. We ask guests to listen respectfully, protect others' privacy, and help keep the room a welcoming Christian space.
WHO SHOULD COME
This is for unmarried adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, whether you're not dating, open to it, actively dating, in a relationship, engaged, or just here to grow spiritually. You don't need to be looking for anything to belong in the room. Adults from Parkway Church of Christ and the surrounding community are all welcome.
THE BIBLE STUDY SERIES LEADING UP TO SEPTEMBER 12
Starting the weeks before the event, we're releasing a short Bible study every Sunday, each one grounded in a single Scripture passage and connected to what we'll discuss at the round table: identity, healing, discernment, character, communication, healthy relationships, and commitment. Each study includes biblical explanation, life application, and a concrete weekly challenge. Joining the series is encouraged, but you don't need it to attend September 12.

Advance registration is required so we can prepare dinner, seating, and materials for the right number of guests.
