Are we building healthy love, or just chasing attention, chemistry, or the idea of a relationship?
Join us Saturday, September 12, for dinner, games, prizes, and an honest Christian conversation about relationships.
Connected & Called is bringing unmarried adults together to talk about healing, discernment, character, dating, and commitment. This is not speed dating, matchmaking, or a lecture. It is a relaxed evening where people can eat, laugh, meet others, and have a real conversation about the choices that shape our relationships.
The event is primarily for unmarried adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. Those who are dating, in a committed relationship, or engaged are also welcome. You do not have to be looking for a relationship to attend.
Seating is limited, and advance registration is required so we can prepare dinner, seating, prizes, and materials.
During the evening, we will discuss questions such as:
• What is the difference between building love and chasing it?
• How can unresolved hurt affect who we choose and how we treat them?
• What does intentional dating look like without rushing or ignoring warning signs?
• How do character, faith, boundaries, and honesty shape a healthy relationship?
• How can we tell the difference between a real connection and temporary attention?
• Are our current choices helping us build something healthy and lasting?
This event is not about pressuring anyone to date or marry. It is about thinking biblically, making wiser choices, and growing in spiritual maturity wherever you are right now.

• Practical takeaways for everyday life
The discussion will take place in smaller table groups so everyone has an opportunity to speak. You will not be required to answer every question or share private information.
We ask everyone to listen respectfully, give others room to speak, and keep personal information shared during the discussion private.
WHO SHOULD COME
This event is for unmarried adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. You may be single, dating, in a committed relationship, engaged, or simply focused on growing in faith and building community.
You do not need to be looking for a relationship to attend.
Adults from Parkway Church of Christ, other congregations, and the surrounding community are welcome.
WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY SERIES
Each Sunday leading up to the event, Connected & Called will release a short Bible study connected to the round-table discussion.
The studies will cover identity, healing, discernment, character, communication, healthy relationships, and commitment. Each one will focus on a single Scripture passage and include biblical explanation, life application, personal study questions, and a challenge for the week.
Following the series is encouraged, but it is not required to attend the event.
