Ards Sure Start Summer Trip to Streamvale

Ards SureStart will pay the entry fee to Streamvale for SureStart families and will provide coach transport for those who need this.

This is always a wonderful day – please book a free ticket before Tuesday 16th June to reserve your spot. This event is only for parents/carers & children (aged 0-3 years) who are registered with Surestart Ards. Unfortunately, due to insurance coverage, we cannot accommodate children aged 4+.

Transport:

Ards SureStart will provide coach transport for those who need this. SureStart coach:

Coach pick up times will range from 9am-10am depending on location in Newtownards and along the Peninsula. SureStart staff will be on the coach to greet you. Coaches will then leave Streamvale at 1.00pm. Families travelling by coach must provide an appropriate car seat for each child attending.

Driving yourself:

Arrive at Streamvale Farm carpark at 10.30am. Surestart staff will be there to greet you. Streamvale Farm does not open it’s doors to the public until 10.30am so unfortunately entry will not be possible before this time. Please be mindful of little ones who would struggle with waiting outside in the busy car park and consider remaining in your car until doors open. Those driving themselves are welcome to stay for the whole day or as long as they wish.

Support on the day:

If you need additional support in order to take part in this activity (e.g. someone to lend a hand with your children, push a buggy, provide emotional support re anxiety or transport car seats to/from the coach pick up point) please email Alison directly – [email protected] There are plenty of staff available to help 😊

Booking for more than one child:

If you have more than one child you do not need to book additional tickets. Please just make sure to include the names and ages of all children attending.

Weather dependant reminders:

For sunshine - Don’t forget to bring suncream and a drink. For grey skies and rain – don’t forget puddle suits and umbrellas! We will hope for the best 😊
