Arctic Traverse - Presentation by Author Michael EngelhardJoin Michael Engelhard in a talk about his 58-day, 1,000-mile solo trek through Alaska's Brooks Range. On this journey, Engelhard crossed the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and Gates of the Arctic National Park before launching an inflatable canoe on the Noatak River, North America's largest undammed watershed.
Engelhard is trained as a cultural anthropologist and worked for 25 years as an outdoor instructor and guide.
