In this relaxed and creative session, we'll capture architectural details and urban scenes using simple watercolour techniques. Whether it's windows, rooftops, or full street views, you'll learn how to bring structures to life with washes, lines, and light. All skill levels welcome—just bring your materials and creativity!
Materials to Bring:
1. Watercolour paints (basic travel set or tubes)
2. Watercolour paper (preferably 140 lb / 300 gsm, cold press)
3. Brushes (round brushes in sizes 4–8; a fine detail brush is a bonus)
4. Pencil and eraser (for light sketching)
5. Water container (for rinsing brushes)
6. Paper towel or cloth (for blotting)
7. Ruler (optional, for straight architectural lines)
8. Fine-liner pen (waterproof, for ink & wash technique)
9. Portable stool or blanket (optional)
10. Clipboard or drawing board (to support your paper)
11. Reference photos or sketches (if you want to work from past travels or local landmarks)
