Architectural Antiques: Behind the Salvage

On this 45-minute staff-led experience, you’ll explore a vast collection of salvaged architectural elements—each with its own history and second life. From stained glass and lighting fixtures to fireplace mantels and ornate hardware, this space offers a rare opportunity to see how pieces of the past are preserved, repurposed, and reimagined.

Located in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis, Architectural Antiques is housed in a striking four-story brick and timber building originally built as a factory for Nash Coffee Company. As you move through the space, you’ll not only discover remarkable artifacts, but also learn about the building itself and the role it has played in the city’s industrial and cultural history.

Whether you’re a design enthusiast, preservation advocate, or simply curious, this tour offers a fascinating look at the stories embedded in the built environment—and what it means to give them new life.
