Join us for an expedition to the Archeological Research Institute (ARI). Participants in this ARI event will meet at ARI’s location on 126 W High Street, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025 (a half hour drive from Cincinnati). https://exploreari.org/Program Director, Samy Norris, will give us an intro to archaeology and the work of ARI. She will divide us into groups and shuttle us to current excavation sites in the Ohio River Basin (Carriage House Farm and/or Lost Bridge Brewing Company). We will work alongside ARI's field research team exploring the world of experimental archaeology through different research projects. Participants will be shuttled back to their cars in approximately 2 hours.

The event will be mostly outdoors and will occur rain or shine, so please dress for the weather and for bugs. Donation: $10 per person to ARI. Drive to Lawrenceburg on your own, or meet at 9:00 am to arrange your own carpools in the parking lot behind Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church, 103 WH Taft Road, Cincinnati OH 45219.
