What secrets lie beneath the soil of our 200-year-old property?
Join us for a search around Spring Hill Historic Home & Underground Railroad Site.
This event is in collaboration with Massillon Museum and Stark Parks.
HIGHLIGHTS:
-- YOUNG KIDS can enjoy their own Activity Station where they can dig and sift for treasures, color, and excavate plastic dino skeletons (which they can take home!) They can also help screen dirt from the excavations.
-- KIDS, TEENS & ADULTS can dig in designated areas, sift and screen for artifacts, wash artifacts, and explore the property.
Additional activities include:
-- Lunch from J&J Dogs Food Truck
-- Open-house tours
-- 2025 Artifact Discovery Zone (look and touch)
*ANY ARTIFACTS DISCOVERED on Spring Hill's property will remain the property of Spring Hill Historic Home & Underground Railroad Site. The archaeologist who discovers it will have the opportunity to pose with the artifact, and have their name attached to the collection record*
