Join archaeologists and Museum of Idaho staff for a rare adventure to the Wasden-Croft Archaeological Preserve, one of the most important prehistoric sites in the region. Tucked in the Arco desert, this extraordinary location features three lava-tube caves with evidence of human activity dating back 13,000 years.Your experience begins at the Museum of Idaho, where you'll examine real artifacts from the Wasden Collection. Then, hop into SUVs provided by Teton Toyota and head out to the preserve for a guided exploration of the ancient cave site—followed by a delicious lunch from Great Harvest.
