Join the Hampton History Museum for a hands-on week exploring the world of archaeology and local history. Campers will visit real archaeological sites, meet working archaeologists, participate in excavation activities, clean and catalog artifacts, and design their own museum exhibit.
From field trips to Fort Monroe and Fairfield Archaeology Park to interactive digs and gallery scavenger hunts, this immersive camp gives young historians the chance to discover how the past is uncovered, studied, and shared with the public. At the end of the week, campers will install their very own exhibit at the museum for friends and family to enjoy throughout the summer!
Dates: July 27-31
AGES: 8-12
Days: Monday-Friday
Times: 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Cost: $120, includes $20 non-refundable deposit
