Archaeology Awareness Month Fundraiser & Celebration

The Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office invites any member of the public to attend this free fundraiser and educational event. The event consists of refreshments, a silent art auction, and a public lecture.
The event will begin around 5:30 pm with hors d'oevres and a silent auction of artwork. We will hear a message from Wyoming artist Robert Martinez, whose original artwork is featured on the 2026 Wyoming Archaeology Awareness Month poster and will be auctioned off as a fundraiser at this event. Then, around 6:30 we will hear from Dr. William Taylor about the archaeological themes featured on this year's poster (archaeology and horses in Wyoming). The silent auction will close at 7:45 pm.
