Position Players

8:30 a.m.- Check-In/Registration

9:00 a.m.- Stretch

9:30 a.m.- Offensive Instruction and Showcase

10:15 a.m. - Pitcher Only Arrival Time

10:30 a.m.- Defensive Instruction and Showcase & 60s

One positional group will run 60s while the other showcases

11:15 a.m.- Scrimmage

2:00 p.m. - Optional Tour of Clubhouse & Dismissal

Cost: $175 Position Player/Pitcher Only, $225 Two-Way Player

Ages of Campers: 9th Grade and older

Location: Skip Wilson Field

Overview:The Arcadia University Baseball Team will be hosting its 2024 Summer Prospect Camp. The camp will provide attendees with a unique chance to experience a college program and get top-tier instruction from current Arcadia University coaches and athletes. Those attending will have a chance to work with current Arcadia players and coaches in both offensive and defensive sessions. From the defensive perspective,all will learn the fundamentals of infield and outfield play. Offensively, the coaches and current athletes will teach the participants the foundation of hitting throughdrills and excercies the college team uses in batting practice. Pitchers will have the opportunity to see what a typical college pitchers’ practice consists of, including pre-practice stretches and band routines.

Registration Information:Online: Register and pay online then mail “Photograph and Publicity Release” and “Indemnity Agreement” to the camp director prior to the camp.

Paper: Complete registration form then mail check along with “Photograph and Publicity Release” and “Indemnity Agreement” to the camp director prior to the camp.

Refund Policy:Campers unable to attend camp are entitled to a refund. A $25 administrative fee will be deducted, regardless of the reason. Refund requests must be submitted in writing PRIOR to the first day of the camp session in which the camper was originally enrolled. No refunds for any reason (i.e. injury, illness) will be given once a camper is on campus.

Medical Policy:Each participant should have his or her own medical insurance. A certified trainer will always be available. Waiver forms must be completed prior to camp.

Food and Snacks:Campers can bring non-perishable snacks and drinks to camp. All food and drinks should be easily contained and packaged to avoid leaks, spills, etc. Camp staff will not store or hold any food or drinks brought to camp by a camper. Water will be available throughout the day for campers.

Drop off and Pick Up:All campers are required to sign in at check-in and sign out prior to leaving each day. Campers who drive themselves will be permitted to leave once they sign out for the day. Campers who did not drive must be signed in by the person dropping them off and signed out by an authorized person listed on the registration form. Questions pertaining to pickup and drop off locations should be directed to the camp director before the camp begins.

Behavior and Conduct:Campers are expected to conduct themselves in an acceptable manner as guests of Arcadia University and comply with the rules and regulations which govern the conduct of traditional students on campus. Campers conducting themselves in an unacceptable manner may be asked not to return for the remainder of the camp without a refund.
