ARC SEND CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW

We’re exploring the idea of organising a horse/pony show specifically designed for children with additional needs, in a quieter, more relaxed, and supportive environment.
The aim would be to create a space with tailored, inclusive activities for children with learning, behavioural, social, or physical needs—while also offering a non-judgemental setting that helps reduce isolation for both children and their families.
We understand that traditional shows can sometimes feel overwhelming due to factors like noise, busy environments, clothing expectations, communication challenges, and long waiting times. Because of this, some families may not feel comfortable attending.
We’d really value your thoughts—would this be something you or your child might be interested in? And what changes or support would make it easier for you or your child to take part in a showing event?
